**Day 1 : Cuzco > Cachora > Chikiska**

Depart early from Cuzco, heading toward the town of San Pedro de Cachora. Along the way, travel through beautiful Andean landscapes until reaching the Capuliyoq viewpoint, for a breathtaking view of the Apurímac River canyon. In the distance, you can already make out the archaeological complex of Choquequirao, stirring excitement for the journey ahead. From this point, begin the descent on foot to reach the campsite in Chikisca, nestled in a warm valley. Enjoy your first night surrounded by nature.

**Day 2 : Chikiska > Choquequirao**

Set out early and descend a short stretch until you reach the Apurímac River and cross a bridge back into the Cuzco region. From there, begin the ascent toward Santa Rosa, where you’ll take a break to rest. At this point, visit the home of Julián, a local resident who prepares the traditional sugarcane chicha known as Cambray. This is also chance to stock up on mineral water, soft drinks, and rehydration beverages.

Continue climbing to reach Marampata (2,913m), where you can pause to catch your breath and take in the landscape. From here, the trail levels out for a while before giving way to a gently undulating path that leads to the campsite. At the end of the day there is the option to visit the Pacchayoc archaeological sector — an experience that deepens your connection to the cultural richness of this region.

**Day 3 : Choquequirao**

After breakfast, begin the ascent to the main archaeological complex. During this visit, explore key areas such as the Usnu, the Priest’s House, Llamayoq, the Anan and Urin sectors, the Cemetery, and the Administrative Area. This immersive journey through the history and grandeur of the site takes several hours and allows an appreciation of the scale and significance of Choquequirao.

Lunch is served picnic-style, perfect for enjoying in the heart of this extraordinary setting. Upon returning to camp, a comforting snack awaits before dinner, the ideal way to recharge after a day filled with exploration. End the day with a well-earned rest beneath the Andean sky.

**Day 4 : Choquequirao > Chikisca**

Start the day with an early breakfast before beginning the hike back to Rosalina Beach. On the way, you’ll make a stop for lunch and take a short break. Once at Rosalina Beach (1,478m), the camp will be set up. This is a perfect day to enjoy the surrounding landscape and nature. Experience a wide variety of flowers and wildlife along the trail, along with the sound of waterfalls in the distance. In the evening, you will have dinner and rest to rejuvenate for your last day of hiking.

**Day 5: Chikisca > Cachora > Cuzco**

Set off early on a steady ascent to the Capuliyoq viewpoint, where once again you are rewarded with spectacular views of the Apurímac River canyon. From there, the path becomes flatter as you make your way toward the town of Cachora. Crossing the final valley, marks the end of your trek. Upon arrival, enjoy a well-deserved lunch and prepare for the return journey — either back to the city of Cusco or directly to your hotel in the Sacred Valley.
