**Day 1: Istanbul**
On arrival in Istanbul you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel.

**Day 2: Istanbul**
Istanbul is a captivating city where East meets West with a rich history, stunning architecture, and a mix of traditional and modern culture. Join your guide to visit Topkapi Palace, the beautiful Hagia Sophia, the iconic Blue Mosque with its beautiful Iznik tiles, the Hippodrome, and the exotic bustle of the Grand Bazaar.

**Day 3: Istanbul > Gallipoli > Canakkale**
Drive along the shores of the Sea of Marmara to the Gallipoli Peninsula. Visit the poignant and significant sites of Anzac Cove and Lone Pine Cemetery. Cross the Dardanelles and drive to the sea port city of Canakkale.

**Day 4: Canakkale > Troy > Pergamum > Izmir > Kusadasi**
Travel to the city of Izmir on the coast of the Aegean Sea and visit the ancient city of Troy, famous for its Trojan Horse. Continue to Pergamum, once a rich and powerful city of Ancient Greece, before driving to the beach resort town of Kusadasi.

**Day 5: Kusadasi > Ephesus > Kusadasi**
Today, visit the ancient city of Ephesus, perhaps the greatest historical site in Asia Minor. Explore the Celsius Library, Marble Street and the amphitheater that could seat 24,000. Conclude the day with a stop at the Virgin Mary’s House and the St John Basilica.

**Day 6: Kusadasi > Pamukkale > Kusadasi**
Drive to Pamukkale, famous for its natural limestone formations – gleaming white cascading terraces known as the Cotton Castle. Also visit the ruins of Hierapolis, an ancient Greco-Roman city founded in the 2nd century BC.

**Day 7: Kusadasi > Izmir > Istanbul > Cappadocia**
This morning drive to Izmir to catch a flight to the lunar landscapes of magical Cappadocia (via Istanbul).

**Day 8: Cappadocia**
Today there is an option (additional expense) to enjoy an early morning Hot Air Balloon Ride over; a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Explore the Goreme Open Air Museum (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) with its unique complex of rock-cut churches. View the incredible rock formations of the Devrent Valley and Pasabagi. Lastly visit the town of Avanos where you can enjoy a clay pottery workshop.

**Day 9: Cappadocia**
Today’s exploring starts in picturesque Pigeon Valley, its name derived from the man-made dovecotes (pigeon houses) carved into the soft volcanic rock. Next visit Uchisar Castle, a 4th-century Byzantine fortress carved into a natural rock formation, offering panoramic views over the landscapes of Cappadocia. Witness the incredible underground cities of Kaymaklı and Derinkuyu – an absolute highlight of any visit to Cappadocia. Also visit the beautiful natural wonders of the Red Valley. This evening enjoy a traditional Turkish dinner featuring a mesmerising Whirling Dervish performance performed by members of the Mevlevi Order, combining whirling with music, prayer, and symbolism.

**Day 10: Cappadocia**
After breakfast this morning transfer to Kayseri Airport where arrangements end.
